Lemon Cucumber Infused Water

Lemon Cucumber Infused Water

Drinking enough water each day is one of the simplest things you can do for your health. And yet, for many people, plain water just is not interesting enough to reach for consistently. This lemon and cucumber infused water changes that. It is subtle, clean, and genuinely refreshing, with just enough flavour to make hydration feel like something worth looking forward to.

Lemon brings more than brightness to your glass. It is a rich source of vitamin C, an antioxidant shown to support immune defence, skin collagen production, and iron absorption. Cucumber, meanwhile, is composed of over 95% water and contains silica and potassium, compounds associated with skin hydration and blood pressure regulation. Together, they make for an infusion that is as functional as it is refreshing.

For the best results, this recipe was made for the AquaTru Glass Carafe with Infuser Lid, purpose-built for exactly this kind of infusion. Fill it with AquaTru-filtered water and the difference in taste is immediate: no chlorine, no aftertaste, just pure water carrying the natural flavours of lemon and cucumber exactly as intended.

  • What you need:

    • 1 lemon, thinly sliced, seeds removed
    • ½ seedless cucumber, thinly sliced
    • 1,900 ml of AquaTru-filtered water
    • Ice cubes, to serve
  • How to do it:

    1. Add the lemon and cucumber slices to your AquaTru Glass Carafe with Infuser Lid.
    2. Fill with cold AquaTru-filtered water.
    3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours for a more pronounced flavour.
    4. Pour over ice and serve straight from the carafe.

Tip: The longer the infusion rests, the deeper the flavour. Overnight works beautifully. Just remove the fruit and cucumber before the 24 hour mark to prevent the rind from turning bitter.
